Am I REALLY pregnant?
You need to KNOW if you’re pregnant – and home pregnancy tests aren’t always accurate. Heartline offers free medical-grade pregnancy testing administered by a trained nurse. Pregnancy verification also available if needed for Medicaid services, etc.
Is the pregnancy VIABLE?
Ultrasound (offered beginning at 7 weeks gestation) will confirm you do not have an ectopic pregnancy (where the fertilized egg is growing outside of the uterus) and establish accurate dating so you know how far along you are. An ultrasound picture will be provided with each scan.
What about prenatal care?
While Heartline does not offer prenatal care at the center, we partner with several local OB/GYN doctors to offer you a smooth transition from our services to pregnancy-related medical care. Just ask the nurse for a referral at your appointment.
Do I have an STI?
No matter your pregnancy plans, it’s important to know if you have an STI before any pregnancy-related medical procedure. We offer vouchers for free STI testing at Medstat (across the street from our center) for those without insurance. This service is available for both men & women.
What can I do for a healthy pregnancy?
To promote a healthy pregnancy, it’s important for pregnant women to get a special blend of nutrients. Prenatal vitamins provide these nutrients – if you can’t afford prenatal vitamins, Heartline will provide some for you at no charge.
What else do I need to know?
Pregnancy brings with it a whole lot of WHAT IS GOING ON? And HOW AM I GOING TO DO THIS? Our one-on-one pregnancy and prenatal education classes walk you through everything you need to know to feel prepared.
But what will I WEAR?
There are enough things that bring stress during pregnancy – don’t let what you wear be one of them!
At Heartline’s B.A.B.E. Boutique, we offer up to 5 free items of maternity clothing with each visit. You’ll find B.A.B.E. on the second floor of the Health Pavilion where Heartline is located.
I'm also dealing with...
If challenges related to housing, employment, childcare, healthcare, mental health, or domestic violence are making your pregnancy experience more difficult than it should be, our client advocates will connect you with local agencies and help you apply for the services you need.
What do I do now?
No matter the reason behind the loss, losing a pregnancy brings some difficult emotional experiences.
We offer one-on-one programs for those needing post-abortion or miscarriage support. No one should have to walk this road alone – schedule an appointment today.

I felt very at home and supported at Heartline instead of judged. That meant A LOT.
I felt so comfortable here. Best service I’ve had in a long time.
