Yes! All of Heartline’s services, including our pregnancy tests, are free of charge to clients – no insurance checks, no copays, no surprise bills.

Coming to Heartline for your pregnancy test means lots of added benefits. Not only will our nurse confirm pregnancy and establish an initial due date, but you will walk away with prenatal vitamins, referrals for prenatal care, and lots of support resources to get your pregnancy off to the best possible start. Our nurse will also make sure you get all of your questions answered.

We can also provide a Verification of Pregnancy if needed to qualify for WIC, Pregnancy Medicaid, or other pregnancy support services.

A Pregnancy Verification, or a “Verification of Pregnancy,” is an official document that a medical professional has confirmed your pregnancy. Pregnancy verification documentation is often required for pregnancy support services like WIC and Pregnancy Medicaid.

Heartline does offer no-cost ultrasounds, but we will schedule your ultrasound appointment at the end of your pregnancy test appointment. This is so that we a) have confirmed you are pregnant, and b) have established approximately how far along you are. We will schedule your ultrasound appointment between 8-12 weeks gestation.

We schedule pregnancy test appointments for a 1-hour time block. During the first half, you will meet with one of our Client Advocates, and the second half will be with our nurse. You can find more information on exactly what to expect – and how to prepare – here.

The most important thing? Come with a full bladder! Our medical-grade pregnancy tests are urine based, so we’ll provide you with water when you arrive if you forget. You will also want to bring along a photo ID (if you don’t have one, we’ll take a photo when you arrive for our records).

YES. Although a portion of the appointment will only be with you, a support person is welcome for the rest – whether that is a parent, a partner, or a friend.

It’s not uncommon for a client’s pregnancy test to be negative. If you are showing symptoms of pregnancy but get a negative or inconclusive test, we can schedule a retest within 2 weeks.

Heartline is located in Warsaw, Indiana. We are in the Health Services Pavilion (1515 Provident Dr.), a building with many other social and health services, including WIC, the Health Department, and the Pavilion Help Center. We are across the street from MedStat, and right next door to Warsaw Women’s Center. While you can use either building entrance to get to Heartline, the West Entrance – the one further into the parking lot – is closest to Heartline’s suite (180).

Although Heartline welcomes walk-ins and will gladly accommodate them when the schedule allows, the best way to guarantee timely service is to make an appointment.
