Yes! All of Heartline’s services, including our STI testing program, are free of charge to clients – no insurance checks, no copays, no surprise bills.

While Heartline does not perform the STI test itself, you will come to Heartline first for your STI appointment and free test voucher. STI appointments are scheduled for a 30-minute time block.

You will then take the voucher to MedStat (across the street from us) to get the actual test. You can either go to MedStat immediately after you’re finished at Heartline, or when your schedule allows.

Note that the voucher must be used within ONE WEEK and only ONE free STI testing voucher is allowed per person.

YES. Heartline’s STI services are available to both men and women. Male STI clients meet with male staff, and female STI clients meet with female staff.

NO. Heartline’s STI testing services are available to ALL, no matter your pregnancy status.

Heartline’s funding for the STI testing program allows for a limited number of vouchers given out each month. To find out if we have vouchers available, call us at 574-267-5110. In recent years, we almost always have vouchers available for those who need them.

If we are running low on vouchers, we may ask if you are experiencing active symptoms or if you have checked with your insurance provider to see if they cover your STI test. This helps us determine priority.

Heartline is located in Warsaw, Indiana. We are in the Health Services Pavilion (1515 Provident Dr.), a building with many other social and health services, including WIC, the Health Department, and the Pavilion Help Center. We are across the street from MedStat, and right next door to Warsaw Women’s Center. While you can use either building entrance to get to Heartline, the West Entrance – the one further into the parking lot – is closest to Heartline’s suite (180).

Although Heartline welcomes walk-ins and will gladly accommodate them when the schedule allows, the best way to guarantee timely service is to make an appointment.
